Hereford ISD is pleased to announce that registration for the 2025-2026 school year will once again begin in the spring in an effort to ensure the district will have adequate staff for the upcoming year. Online registration will be available for both returning and new students for the next school year.

Online registration will open April 7, 2025 and close May 4, 2025. The links for registration will not be available until April 7. It is very important that you complete online registration as soon as possible to avoid the possibility of being transferred to another campus due to large class sizes. By having spring registration, HISD is hoping to avoid having to force transfer any students.

For returning students and new students with siblings already enrolled in HISD, just click on the link titled “Registration and Enrollment” on the Hereford ISD website (www.herefordisd.net). Once you have logged in click on “Returning Student Online Registration” for your students. If you have a new student, click on “New to District Registration” on the left-hand side of the screen on the family access page. Complete the process and make sure and submit your registration.

For new students that do not have siblings enrolled in HISD, click on the link titled “Registration and Enrollment” located on the HISD website and then click on the link titled “New Student Online Registration”. Complete the process and submit your registration.

For Pre-K students, you must come in and apply for Head Start before you can complete online registration for HISD. The dates to apply in person for Head Start are April 7 – 11, 2025 and April 30 – May 2, 2025 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at the HISD Administration building.

If you do not have a computer/device available or need assistance to complete online registration, computers and help will be available at the HISD Administration building (601 N 25 Mile Ave), Monday – Friday, April 7, 2025 – April 11, 2025 and Wednesday – Friday, April 30, 2025 – May 2, 2025 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. We will be available until 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 2, 2025. Assistance will be available April 14 – April 29 by appointment only.

For elementary transfer requests, there will now be a form available to fill out in the online registration process (it will no longer be a separate form). The deadline to submit the form in registration is May 4, 2025 and no late requests will be accepted. Please contact your campus with any questions.

For login and password information, please contact your student’s campus and they will be able to assist you. Any additional information in regards to registration will be communicated through the HISD website, social media, class dojo, and local media outlets.
