Bryan Hedrick has had a distinguished career in law enforcement and school safety. Here's a summary of his accomplishments and current roles:

  1. Law Enforcement Career:

    • Began in 1981.

    • Graduated from the Panhandle Regional Law Enforcement Academy in 1981.

    • Holds a Master's License in Law Enforcement.

    • Certified as a Texas Crime Prevention Practitioner, Field Training Officer, County Jailer, and Instructor by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Education.

  2. A career with Hereford Independent School District (HISD):

    • Joined in April 1995.

      • District Emergency Management Director

    • Named Director of Special Services in July 2017.

    • Promoted to Executive Director of Safety and Security in 2023.
